Be CAREFUL! Some of those homeschoolers will cut you! Sometimes I wonder if their children ever meet anyone they aren't related to.

I especially love the one about trying to decide if she "$550 a month cares" about her kid's education. Because there's super-drama here in CA right now about all these parents who claim they super-care about their kids' education... so they've been "teaching" them illegally, sans credential. Because the MEAN OLD PUBLIC SCHOOLS will teach their kids about EVOLUTION and HOMOSEXUALITY iamnotevenkidding. But they won't PAY for a private school. Or club together with other parents and pay to start their own school. Or to have a credentialed teacher come homeschool their kids. No! Their children MUST NOT BE EXPOSED TO ANY OTHER IDEAS! NOBODY MUST TALK TO THOSE KIDS!
So it's nice to see a parent who actually gets what her choices are and consider whether or not she wants to invest money in her kid's elementary school or just use good public schools.
