Botkier for the Tuesday
Manolo says, the weather has finally turned warm, and that impeccably dressed man who looks vaguely like Derek Jeter has finally, after much hinting on your part, asked you to accompany him to dinner and the concert of jazz trombone at Carnegie Hall.
And while you have your doubts about the concert, this despite his assurances that it will be “off the hook”, you have no doubts about what shoes you will wear: these sleek and streamlined metallic wedge sandals from Botkier.
With luck, the post-concert evening will turn chilly, and he will offer you his coat.

The Manolo. He is the true Romantic.
You had me at Jeter.
You can keep your Jeters, but I’ll take those shoes. What I love is the creativity and delicacy: they are NOT really a wedge, but they are not really anything else, exactly, except sculpted, refined, and beautiful.
A little prissy, a little SM, a little dom….WOW! Totally sexy, classy, demure, I am in love/lust. I have never spent this much on shoes (except custom made boots) but I am cashing in my 401K for these!
I love those shoes. I just wonder if they are actually comfortable with those angle straps. Oh well, beauty is pain, right? : ) I noticed mirror treatment leather is everywhere now….
