The Annalucia has read the offending article (she assumes it is the entry for March 31st) and she will say that is is hardly the ringing endorsement of the Crocs. The tone is more in the line of “If you MUST, under certain extremely muddy or emergency conditions, have the cheap and reasonably comfortable shoe…” etcetera. Certainly she felt no urge to run out and buy a pair, if this was the fear of the Manolo. And yes, the Plumcake should not have accepted the gifts.
Still, she has made confession and shown contrition, and the Annalucia is willing to leave it at that.
