We like Manolo’s Gallery of The Horrors. If he had to choose one of the worst Shoe Crimes, which one would it be?The Croc; with out the doubt , the Croc. It represents all that is evil about the modern world; the ugly, cheap plastic object that infantilizes the wearer and abuses the eyes of the beholder. They are peasant clown shoes, for clownish peasants.

Kudos to The Manolo! Great interview! It is so refreshing to find a place where fashion and intelligence intersect. It is the general consensus that fashionistas are vapid and those of the intelligentsia are boring. But not here. The Manolo’s blogs, bloggers and most of his “Internet friends” who post comments are literate and intelligent. It is a delight to have found this blog.
