Tabby is very cute in his red crocs.
Manolo, before I began to read your blog I was not even aware of the crocs. But your negative campaigning against them irked my curiousity so much so that I decided to fork out $50 in order to try their awfulness on my own feet (it’s a good thing you were not campaigning against something really harmful, like smoking… or eating chocolate eclairs…).

They are very comfortable for walking, even for miles (which I do in spring summer). Better than sneakers which are OK for the first three miles but for longer distances they make my feet feel sort of semi-paralyzed. Can’t imagine why.
I got a pair for my friend who is on her feet all day (she has a daycare). She told me she no longer suffers the awful muscle pain at the back of her legs that used to bother her at the end of every day.

Wow, Noga. That is very impressively open-minded of you. I don’t think I have ever tried anything on a negative recommendation before! I’m glad it worked out for you you, but in fairness, you didn’t try the hideous originals that the cat is wearing. The pair you chose is actually decent-looking.
Do you truly find those more comfy than sneakers? I can see those cutting into the tops of my toes, and slap-slap-slapping against my heels as I walk around.

Agreed. The hideous Crocs Cayman looks as stupid on the tabby as it does on humans. However, the Crocs Celeste has been a wonderful slip-on for me and my barking dogs. No holes, and the use of canvas on the upper makes them more natural looking. For comfort, they can’t be beat.

Wildflower: Yes, I personally find them better than sneakers for walking long distances on a sidewalk. They are very comfortable. I wouldn’t go hiking in them, though.

Anyway I detest crocs as well, but I i limit my disdain to the originals.
