Whose Shoes Wednesday…The Answer!

Manolo asked, whose shoes?

Manolo answers, it is the Ingrid Bergman!

Congratulations to the Manolo’s internet friend ChaCha Heels who was the first to correctly identify the person of the week.

P.S. Sometimes the Google image searches reveals the most puzzling and amusing things

That Japanese artist actually looks pretty good as a woman. The Kathryn Hepburn one was cute.

Long Island — that’s not Shirley Maclaine with Ingrid. But I don’t know who it is!

What a great photo! The metal clad building behind her and the cobblestone street makes me think she must be in Sweden. Icelandic houses and streets look like that as well.

I can’t help but laugh while going back and reading all the guesses with “duh!” and “obviously” and “absolutely” and “too easy!” and such, which were ALL WRONG… not very nice of me, I suppose, but irresistible nonetheless.

However, the Marily Monroe, it was the FAIL in the big way, and the Liza Minelli was not far behind it. La BellaDonna recommends that the artist observe the eyebrows of his subjects; his Greta Garbo, it was not at all the bad, nor the Ingrid Bergman, but the eyebrows were not good for several of the others; and the softer features of the Marilyn and the Liza were not well-served by his distinctive bone structure.
