I remember seeing X in Hollywood when I was in high school in the late 70s and early 80s. Seeing X was fantastic and life altering for me. Exene is so freaking awesome. I adore her.
I saw X open for Oingo Boingo many, many moons ago in Vegas. Oddly, I’d never seen them in LA.
Definitely in the top 10 concerts I’ve ever seen.
They still tour! I’ve seen them 3 or 4 times at the Anaheim House of Blues. They sound fantastic, and John Doe makes my heart go pitter-pat.

Back in the day when I was in the financial world, the famous Exene Cervenka came breezing through our office. Let’s just say that she was a lovely lady on a personal level and totally gracious to the buttoned down, suited up, financial types. A classy lady all around.
Still….we could never get the X- Viggo Mortenson thing. Talk about two people who who you would have never guessed were at one time a couple…with kids!
Oh, and I love Bruce Chatwin. Even though he is gone, I love the fact that his books are still being read and appreciated.
He loves shoes and Exene! I knew that even though we were joined only by the internets, me and the manolo are true friends of the spirit!
