Bettye Muller for the Thursday
Manolo says, here is something simple, direct, and handsome from Bettye Muller. This the sort of shoe you could proudly wear for many, many years to come, something that would never go out of style.

Really? Because I think that shoe is hideous. The heel in particular, but that is just my opinion.

I think it looks cheap :/

I usually love Bettye Mueller, (and in fact recently spent half an hour at the Nordstrom Rack trying to shove my foot into a sweet pair that were 1/2 size too small) but this style is so old-lady, it would only look good on a 20-something. I can totally see my late grandma wearing these with suntan hose.

Unfortunately, I’d have to agree. The heel is my grandmother, 100%.

I am on the side of The Manolo on this one! Maybe I am just an Old Lady at heart, but I totally want these shoes.

I think they’d look great on me, and I’m not anywhere near my 20’s. They’re elegant and that heel means they’ll be elegant all over the place.

My first thought was old ladies on cruise ships with these heels. They look very orthopedic!

I can see my mother in law in Zurich wearing these…but basically no else.

The heel is just so . . . oppressive.

They have a timeless appeal. If you’re Miss Piggy.
