I have adored shoeboots ever since puberty, when I had such a crush on Robin (of "Batman and"). My habit of walking a minimum of five miles a day, however, demands that I forgo the more superfantastic in favour of the merely fab for day-to-day wear. Fortunately, there are plenty of options, not all of whom will have to be put away next year. The great thing about shoeboots is if they can't see your calves, they can't tell what they are, really, so they never get old. Seriously, this is my year.
