I wonder if this old pair was comfortable enough to play basketball, it looks stiff. But if they would reproduce the same design, well, using other softer materials, then I wouldn’t hesistate to buy one for my bf, and pair it with this one:

I think, based on that picture, those basketball shoes have held up quite well for being 116 years old. That’s either a testament to the quality of craftmanship or means the owner of those shoes didn’t play that much basketball. Makes me wonder what a pair of current day Nike Dunks would look like after being unearthed 116 years from now!

Haha wow! Imagine Kobe Bryant being the spokesperson for one of those! I actually kind of dig the monotone and the brown…kind of gives a subdued and classy look for basketball shoes don’t you think?
