Gray Cavalli Pumps for the Autumn Evening
Manolo says, here are the pair of tastefully embellished gray suede pumps from the Roberto Cavalli that the Manolo thinks would be perfect for autumnal soiree.
As always, the Manolo is surprised when Cavalli chooses restraint..

Gorgeous…but $984.00? I don’t think the price of all the shoes in my closet add up to that much.
they are lovely, but I’ve never figured out what I can wear grey shoes with…
Pour la Victoire has a fantastic pair of gray suede pumps (albeit with no embellishments) that retails for less than $200. I got them yesterday, but they were too small on me! I couldn’t find any place online that had them in the next size up, so alas, I must let these go. The search for the perfect gray pump continues . . .
I’ve always thought Cavalli was some mutated clone of Donatella Versace; understatement is not in their vocabulary. If the shoe is not completely overdone, it is because the designer passed out at the drawing board, not because s/he thought it was finished.
Not so pleasing and definitely not worth the price! These kind of embellishments look good on a dress, not so favorable on a shoe, anyway if someone puts a gun to my head and makes me wear it then maybe a mint green chiffon dress might not be a bad idea!

I love the colour and embelishment. Not too sure about the price though considering what you could wear them with!
I actually own a pair of Cavalli shoes, they are black suede peep toes with gold piping. The only animal print is on the inside of the shoe and the soles and the heel are done in the same antique gold as the piping. I continually wonder how such nice shoes came out of that fashion house, and all I can assume is that is why I was able to buy them at the MASSIVELY reduced sale price.
