Giuseppe Zanotti’s April in Paris
Manolo says, whimsical, tri-color, Eiffel Tower High-Heeled Sandals?
And now, the Manolo will serenade.
Maestro, musical accompaniment, if you please..
The Manolo sings…
I never knew the charm of spring
I never met it face to face
I never new my heart could sing
I never missed a warm embraceTill April in paris, chestnuts in blossom
Holiday tables under the trees
April in Paris, this is a feeling
That no one can ever repriseI never knew the charm of spring
I never met it face to face
I never new my heart could sing
I never missed a warm embraceTill April in Paris
Whom can I run to
What have you done to my heart
Merci!

Pretty swoon-y.
And pretty, too.
All the best,

I was going to say, “There are no words…” but, clearly, “Fabulous!” is a word.

A piece of trivia: the writer actually said he really meant for it to be “May” in Paris, but he needed two syllables for the song. Because April in Paris rains constantly.

I am not a fan of most ‘representational’ shoes (what is the correct term) – but these manage to pull it off without being too cheesy, too obvious, too cutesy, or too eewww….
I think these are quite stunning..

Hi, I love your coverage of these shoes. My blog (sasareport) recently did an exclusive piece on Giuseppe Zanotti’s AW 2010 collection… and come across this blog. I love a fellow shoe lover. xoxo
