This reminds me of what Miss Manners says to unmarried couples who want to know what anniversary present goes with which year: “You people are always going on about how you don’t need a piece of paper, so don’t expect me to let you have a Paper Anniversary now!”
In unrelated news, I would marry Steve Martin in a New York minute.

LOL! Just this morning I told my eldest he wan’t fit to attend mass in his (then) current state of hygiene and dress- but I think it might have been a brilliant plot to get to stay home and watch football in his underpants.
ALso, I don’t think Steve Martin has changed one bit in thirty years. That’s the advantage of being prematurely grey comic genius.

I saw his “Night of Bluegrass and Banjo” tour just a couple of weeks ago, and it included this song. Very funny. As an atheist, I may not have any songs, but I also don’t have any religious obligations taking up my weekend. :-)

This has provided me with much joy.
