I have a travel wallet like Mr. Henry's, because not even a mom needs to haul a huge, heavy wallet on vacation. And it makes the ID-showing at the airport much less bothersome for everyone involved. Interestingly, both his and my wallets could also pass for a "mugger's wallet," an item I didn't know existed until recently- and am shocked and saddened to think people actually carry them. But perhaps you also should carry a little something, dear Manolo. What if you are mugged and the perpetrator is dismayed by your depriving him of his income? Hmm.
