Ayyy! Icicles and polar bear fur! Those are marvelously extravagant and most super fantastic indeed!

And, later, at the Halloween party…

There were the Pantomime Shiekh of Araby and the Lord High Executioner!

    It is just not right to diss the Queen, who is not blessed with a statuesque height and is a good 20 years older than the lovely Sheikha, and yet manages to look lovely and appropriate, as always. As for her bumpkin son, feel free to diss away.

    Buttercup is quite right. Our beloved QEII is a lady in her 80s, not disposed to wearing the high heels but the rest of her ensemble is le chic. Perhaps a person of such iconic style might make a suitable subject for whose shoes?

    And yes, feel free to diss Charles. In the north of England they have a way of describing a foolish person – ‘a right proper Charlie’ – though I do believe this predates the heir to the throne.
