This is great :) I had a chance to meet him last month at Neimans. What a lovely, gracious man!

The Maestro cannot live without Plumcake…. Have you told her yet?

Oh. My. God. This might be the first time in history an Episcopalian WASP has ever plotzed!

Few things delight more than an interview with the Maestro! I would love to offer to buy him a beer. I suspect he would turn me down, explaining he doesn’t like beer, but I think he would still chat with me for a few minutest.

He’s so charming! I especially loved the change in tone from the remark about platforms, “They’re so vulgar!”, to the lighter, higher “But anyway, they’re here!”
