And now, the Manolo takes this moment to remind you that 30 years ago, Sylvester Stallone was objectively beautiful.
Sylvester Stallone, Style Icon? Yes, it is true. He was!
It is strange, but the Manolo remembers the early 1980s as being the era of lamentable clothings, and yet, while watching again the 1981 Sylvester Stallone movie Nighthawks, with Billy Dee Williams, Rutger Hauer, the Manolo was struck by just how attractive the costumes were.
Mmmm…Rutger Hauer. Mesmerizing on screen.
I may have lost my mind but young Sly reminds me of Ryan Gosling. I hope Ryan ages with more grace.
IMHO he’s still pretty handsome.
I have always felt that Stallone had a magnetism all his own. And I still believe it. The man really is amazing.
Not so handsome. Was watching “The Expendables” last night and the only time Sly looked okay was standing next to Arnold, who looks worse.
Alas, he has had the plastic surgeries one too many times. :-(
But I agree with The Manolo: he was objectively beautiful back in the day.
