And yet, on the other of the hands, perhaps this combination and look is too much Beau Geste, like the puttees worn by the Legionnaires. Maybe it is too costumey, no?

This is decidedly not what the Manolo thinks of when he thinks of the Giuseppe Zanotti sandal. (Where is the blingtastical bling?) Although, it strikes the Manolo as the honorable attempt at something new for the Zanotti, and thus earns the “A” for the effort.

And yet, on the other of the hands, it is not exactly correct. Perhaps it is the proportions of the straps which seems slightly too big.

Still…

And now the Manolo asks, would you wear it?

Ayyyy! And now you realize that you are ranting in your brain, upset that you were cheated out of your chance live in the world in which being the adult was cool. In the stead, you have arrived at the one moment in history when callow youth and their callow enthusiasms have become the highest aspirations of mankind.

Sigh.
