Dream Shoes for the Poor Girl

I love the study and admiration of designer shoes but liken shopping for them to visiting the great museums of the world. Yes, you may admire the Birth of Venus, you may want to take her home so that you may admire her always, but you may not as you do not have the wherewithall to do so. In this way, I roam the halls of the Musee de Saks and the Museo del Marcus admiring the beauty of the craftsmanship of these lovely shoes. One of my favorite games to play is picking out The Pair or The Designer I shall splurge on when I get a big raise or when my husband suddenly becomes a wealthy hedge fund maverick.
So my question for all the poor shoe-loving working girls out there: when you get The Big Raise and can afford to spend more that $80 on a pair of shoes, which shoe, or which designer, will you splurge on?
I think I would go for a pair of Sigerson Morrisons.
What about you?

Hands down, it would be a pair of classic slingback Christian Louboutins:
Unfortunately, until my school loans are completely paid, I fear I will never plunge my toes into Louboutin heaven.

When I'm filthy rich, I shall wear nothing but Louboutins. Also, I will never pump my own gas again. Okay, nothing but Louboutins wouldn't be very practical. I might have to hang on to a pair of Keds. But I won't pump my own gas, even in the Keds.

Hmm, in Oregon, people aren't ALLOWED to pump their own gas. So I definitely don't have to worry about that.
As for shoes or designer...I don't think I could nail it down to just one...I mean, there are just so many out there...I would probably spring for those silver Sedaraby by Blahnik. Yes, the ones from Sex and the City. I think the are absolutely beautiful. I'm sure you can only get them on Ebay now, which means people are jacking up the prices. Last I saw, the were going for about $1000.

Wow, those Louboutins are gorgeous! They are so timeless, you could wear them forever. Clearly I need to aspire to even more expensive brands for my dream shoes, but that will have to wait until my NEXT big raise.

Manolo Blahniks, the pair in my avatar picture. Patent Mary Janes in Bronze. I just think it'd be awesome to have that pop of bronze color peeping out from my suits at work.

Poor I understand being a student . I ogle a huge tome on Blahniks in the bookstore and want them all. I can't afford the book but I do buy shoes in T.K.Maxx. I just got a pair of Chinese satin heels with beading that Mum says look like those of a Shanghai tart .We both love Chinese Kitsch so that is not an insult ! They are a divine jade green but do throw you forward in an extreme way .

It's got to be these. I've been looking for a pair of red shoes for about three years now: they are either the wrong size or wrong colour red, but these are perfect.
