I am not so facile with the links - so you all must just imagine:
White jeans/slacks - boot cut or wide leg
Pink/fuschia top (similar to the color in the shoe) - halter/sleeveless/or cap sleeve; V - neck; with an interesting detail at empire waist.
One could additionally add other accessories to pull in the other colors, such as a green bag.
I think shoes this clunky should be paired with pants, capris at the shortest. And with a design this busy the rest is simple.
Looks like the Partridge Family's bus was used to inspire the clunky platform. May have crossed the line to tacky-land

Generously, but tastefully, top with the delicious Missoni fragrance. Never leave home without a schpritz of something.

Hmm. The shoes are somewhat over the top, so simple classic lines are a must. I wouldn't go with a skirt, but with a wide-legged white pant like this one from Anthropologie:
Top the pants with a simple summer top that picks up on one of the colors in the shoe:
Add this Catherine Rapetti silver leather hobo bag:
Accessorize with simple silver hoops and a chunky clear lucite necklace:
The shoes are now the quirky highlight of a lovely summer outfit!
Actually, on review this is very similar to an outfit described but not pictured on the first page.
Super fantastic minds think alike, I guess. Also I think I'm the second to grab that turquoise top!
Womnderful ! You get my vote even though only Manolo's vote counts! The silver accents are a sophisticated way to tone down the shoes. Phyllis

I actually think these are great shoes. :-) I'd go with a summery white top, paired with a colorful long skirt:
I am a big fan of the tiered skirt, and I like the crochet top on this one:
http://a1216.g.akamai.net/f/1216/955/6h/images2.nordstrom.com/ImageGallery/store/Product/MediumLarge/5/_5352745.jpg
And a fitted surplice tank to go with the flowing skirt

Wide turquoise headband and multicolor beaded jewelry to match the shoes. Straw bag. And a huge smile and laugh, because you cannot pull off that outfit without having fun with it.

The thing that keeps coming to mind is a short mod dress with these shoes.
If I could sew, I'd whip up this red number (
http://www.goantiques.com/detail,null,1219245.html?source=VYZ4474
).
However, I can't sew, so I would run out and buy this Walter jacquard swirl mod dress in white (
http://www.couturecandy.com/walter/jacquard-swirl-mod-dress-in-white/product.html
). I like how the swirls subtly balance out the rigid lines of the shoes.
The outfit makes enough of a statement on its own, so I'd keep jewelry at a minimum. Just a nice (fake) tan, a pedicure to match the red of the shoes (such as OPI A-rose at dawn...broke by noon), and maybe some simple gold earrings like these (
http://www.jewelrycentral.com/product.asp?pID=2669&cID=15&c=164629
)

I think the shoes are more casual so I would pair them with a nice white linen pant...

I personally prefer my wedges with ankle straps, and these are a way more color-chunk-mod than I ever dress myself, but onward! I think they're just right for a light play on some nautical styling, with a medium-weight accent on the gold, and we need a little bit of color on top to balance out the summery white. Also because it's only May and some of us fair-skins have to wait till at least mid-June before our melanin is primed for summer tans. Behold!

Okay, here goes...
As a fair-skinned gal, I like to keep the sun off my face so I chose this hat:

Skirt:
Sunglasses:
Earrings:
Bracelets:
Handbag:
And, of course, the shoes that started it all:

Well, these platforms are not good looking, but I think the following items might "make them work":
"Love Child" embroidered dress by
Nanette Lepore
:
@ Nordstrom, $340
Marc Jacobs
: Posh Turn-Lock Wristlet:
@ Neiman Marcus, $168
Kenneth Jay Lane
Pierced Hoop Earrings:
@ Bloomingdales, $50
And
American Eagle
Sparkle Sunglasses:
@ ae.com, $19.50

I love the look of a clean palette, so I would pair white and black garments to showcase the platform. But...I would still accentuate the bold colors with some funky accessories
White Shirt and Black Shorts from Versace 2007 Spring Collection (so mod!)
Mac Acid Orange Eyeshadow (bold makeup for a bold shoe!)
Metropolitan Museum of Art Egyptian Earrings (the teal would contrast so well with the eyeshadow)
Louis Vuitton Framboise Bag (super lux and chic)
And of course, the platform that started it all.
::sigh:: If only I could afford this with my student budget. AHH all the more reason to start studying for the GREs!
