Oh dear. I wonder if anybody told her she forgot her pants?
November 9th, 2005 at 12:11 am
The Madonna, she should have quit while she was ahead, many many years before she became the Kabbalah Barney. The Gidget, she reckons that was right after the Ray of Light.
November 9th, 2005 at 2:38 am
I think I speak for us all when I ask, “What the sh*t is she wearing?!”
November 9th, 2005 at 2:43 am
Manolo! You’re a bad, bad man.
(the little daughter’s coat is way cute, though)
November 9th, 2005 at 7:58 am
Lola is adorable but she has Violet Beauregarde as a mom.
November 9th, 2005 at 8:10 am
Forgive me if I’m having trouble reconciling this look with her “lady of the English manor” image…
November 9th, 2005 at 8:41 am
Madonna, she has “Jumped The Shark”.
November 9th, 2005 at 9:00 am
I think it’s funny that Guy Ritchie asked her to reconsider the underwear outfit before she left:
“He thinks she’s too old to be wearing such skimpy things and that she should have toned it down a bit. Madonna listened to what Guy had to say but chose not to do anything about it.”
Too old, yes. But man, those legs look pretty good. I can see why she would get confused about being too old to still wear that. She apparently hasn’t come to grips yet with the fact that she’s nearing 50.
November 9th, 2005 at 9:43 am
It’s the grown up version of Little Violet from Charlie and the Chocoalte Factory!
November 9th, 2005 at 11:26 am
She really made quite a haul at Prince’s gargage sale, eh?
November 9th, 2005 at 12:25 pm
she has ruined my favorite color for me. absolutely ruined it.
November 9th, 2005 at 12:32 pm
Ah, yes. Just what every little girl wants. A mother who looks like — or is — a tramp.
November 9th, 2005 at 12:40 pm
So, aging with grace was not an option, huh Madge?
November 9th, 2005 at 12:48 pm
Many older, more *mature* ladies like purple. Behold the Purple Clothes/Red Hat Club thing that’s (ick) sweeping the nation and littering the tables at Barnes & Noble with how-to manuals.
Next thing we know Madonna will be dining at Applebee’s with a gaggle of senior citizen ladies, all dressed in purple and donning red hats.
Just wait, it’s coming.
November 9th, 2005 at 12:51 pm
I think she looks great. Would you prefer that she wear a sensible suit from j crew? She’s Madonna, for goodness sake.
November 9th, 2005 at 3:15 pm
LMAO at “the Kabbalah Barney!” Hahahahahahahaha!
November 9th, 2005 at 3:18 pm
Ah, Madge, I say rock it if you’ve got it. And Madge still got it. Mmmmkay?
November 9th, 2005 at 3:23 pm
LaCabrita, the Annalucia is fifty-three years old and wears a good deal of purple - but unlike the Madonna, she has the right coloring to get away with it. And no, she does not wear a red hat.
The child Lourdes appears to have more fashion sense and more notion of decorum than her mother. One can only hope that she will exert a good influence on the foolish and confused lady who brought her into the world. It is a great deal to ask of a child, though.
November 9th, 2005 at 3:59 pm
This is for the fun! The Madonna, an entertainer, is here entertaining us.
We can assume a little of the irony here, and playing with the aging matter.
Imagine Paris Hilton (or any young starlet) in this outfit and you have the whole new achievement in tackiness.
Madonna, not tasteful?!? Madonna in the lady-of-the-manor/Queen
mode is outright depressing! Good taste is tacky sometimes.
Strange how specific that purple is though. And I do wish she had some
bottoms on too, really.
November 9th, 2005 at 4:31 pm
The barb, she is nearing 46, and if she had the gams like the Madge?
Man oh man oh man, would I EVER flaunt it.

When I am pushing fifty, I sincerely hope to have legs like Madonna’s (although I somehow doubt it, as I don’t have her self-discipline!) … and if I have aforementioned legs, I will probably be so proud of them that I will do something equally as silly as go out in a leotard and leather jacket.
I probably wouldn’t dislike the other outfit quite so much if it wasn’t all the same colour. Even though I’m a big fan of matchy-matchy and the horrid mismatched trends lately have been hell for me, I don’t think I would ever take it quite so far.
November 9th, 2005 at 5:16 pm
Rock it when you’ve got it I say. And with those legs, she’s still got it.
November 9th, 2005 at 7:05 pm
I agree the outfit looks awful, but if my 50-year-old wife had legs like that I would put up with her wearing just about anything.
November 9th, 2005 at 9:52 pm
Her body rocks. Do I like the clothes? No, but…she is an “entertainer”.
Awesome legs…*sigh*
November 9th, 2005 at 9:58 pm
Her legs may still be there, but the stringiness of age is apparent. Speaking as one of “a certain age” myself, with pretty dang good legs, they ain’t the same legs as those of a twenty/thirty year old. And I sure as hell don’t want to be lookin’ at some 50 year old nether regions. I feel sorry for poor Madge’s kidlets. Get some frickin’ clothes on. I mean.
November 10th, 2005 at 1:05 pm
Hmmm; while the Norma confesses some affinity for the notion of rocking what one has got, she retains the feeling that the Madonna looks extremely silly. Surely there was some way to flaunt her assets — perchance a micro-mini, or even hot pants — that did not leave her open to the misconstruction of having left the house in a drug-induced stupor so profound that she forgot to dress completely.
November 10th, 2005 at 3:16 pm
She is just ridiculous. I mean…what?
Also, someone do something about her poor daughter’s GIANT UNIBROW. Jesus!
November 10th, 2005 at 5:21 pm
Hmm, Madonna looks fabulous in her new video and the song rocks: yeah ABBA samples! And I love the french street gymnastics stuff, what’s it called again?
But. What looks good in the video (pinky-purple leotard) does not look good in these pictures. One off-shoot to having such a great body and such low body-fat is that her face is beginning to look a bit too on-the-bone as it were. Wrinkes show more if you are thin, which is fine. No matter. She’s fabulous. Just not in this particular outfit. It’s not the showing of the skin - it’s the silly collars, the silly color, and the harsh makeup.

Lourdes: “Oh, MoTHER!” (rolls eyes)
November 11th, 2005 at 12:00 am
Does Zippy sense jealousy and envy out there? Shame on you all. You do not have what she has, you have not worked for it, you have not put up with sniveling people like yourselves for years and still come out on top!!
November 11th, 2005 at 12:48 am
Oh Zippy, you truly can NOT say that THAT is an acceptable outfit for anyone at any age! It is a horror to us all. And a shame to her beauty.
November 11th, 2005 at 2:32 am
“Also, someone do something about her poor daughter’s GIANT UNIBROW. Jesus! ”
alexis, I really, really, really hope you’re not serious. The kid’s not even ten yet and you’re picking on the way she looks? I hope you’re proud of how shallow you are.
November 11th, 2005 at 3:33 pm
Zippy says, ” Does Zippy sense jealousy and envy out there?”
Yes! Of the beauty, talent, and wealth. Not, alas, the clothes.
November 11th, 2005 at 10:58 pm
Moi says, the child, she looks like her mother….but the curling iron hair, it must go!!
November 14th, 2005 at 8:45 pm
She should just have “I am desperate” tattooed on her forehead and call it a day.

How Can They See With Sequins in Their Eyes?
No more equestrian getups, flowered dresses or tweed for our girl Madonna. The Material Girl is back (again) and has reinvented herself in some crazy, shiny, feathered-hairdo 1970’s fashion (Seldom Nice Nowadays says Marilu Henner; The Manolo says Li…

Oh dear…Madonna is the queen of pop so she can do what ever she wants and get away with it too. And after all the sh*t she’s been throught and amazing stuff she’s done, still comes out on top…there will never be any other superstar to do what she’s done…I’m just being realistic…LIKE IT OR NOT (listen to the lyrics from that track on the new album)…it’s her message out to people like you! Just worry about your own lives and wrinkles…cuz i bet most of u are no where near or could ever be near as hot as she is at 47!!! TAKE THAT MOTHERF**KERS…HAHA!
