Pikachu!

Manolo says, here are three pairs of the shoes designed in 2001 by Helen Red Richards, the designer of custom orthopaedic shoes, for the Nintendo’s 2001 Style Campaign. These shoes, which cost $2,000 the pair, were described by Nintendo as being for the “club kids with attention deficit disorder“.

The Manolo has to say that although these shoes are ridiculous, they are nonetheless amusing and colorful, and not without the childish charm. And, as always, Pikachu is exceptionally kawaii.

So how would you actually play the Gameboy? By crossing one leg to bring it closer to your hands? And what would you do with the other one on the other shoe? Oh now I get it - put your legs up and two people can play! But then you could only watch. Oh well.
