The Manolo congratulates his internet friend the Tracy, for being so perceptive, and for getting this straight away on the first try.
By the way, the Manolo, like many of his friends was surprised to see that the Charo had such boring shoes. She wears almost nothing but the nude, peep-toe, platform shoes with the ankle-straps, in which she looks, as one internet friend observed, “very uncomfortable”.
Odd, no?

These are the favorite shoes of last week’s Whose Shoes celebrity, the Anna Wintour.
Last week, while looking for the pictures of the Anna Wintour’s shoes, the Manolo noticed two things: One she has the most beautiful collection of boots. Two, when she is not wearing her super fantastic boots she wears these shoes (and variations of these shoes) almost exclusively. Look for them on her feets this week as you view the photos from the New York Fashion Week.

Charo seems to have very good genes…then again, what does the daddy look like?

Three words…the Loooooove Booooaaat … she was a frequent guest back in the day.
My faint memory from a girlhood spent reading tips in fashion magazines leads me to recall that the advice of that day called for “elongating” a short frame with skin toned shoes and hose. Hose were de rigeur back then, and that’s always a tip off for age on the Whose Shoes game.
Her son? Great passing on of bone structure, to marvelous effect!

She was La Petite Acadienne’s fiance’s first childhood crush. Ah, Charo…your flamboyance and joie de vivre are delightful, as is the fact that you’ve never lost your accent in all these years.
