Texas Shoe Fog
In Texas this housewife says ” Howdy Ya’ll”,
I goes a-shoppin’ for my shoes at the mall.
I seen big hair, plastic purses, and long nails,
here we are drivin’ cars the size of them whales.
Folks from fancy places look down on poor me,
’cause I got plastic flip-flops -buy one, get one free.
I guess I just ain’t knowed too much better,
Who can blame me in this Hell-hot weather?
But then this one day I seen Mandolo’s shoe blog.
Gently, he lifted my shoe-ignorance fog.
What I’ve been seeking, instead of slipers elastic,
is a Donna Karan pump…Now that’s super fantastic!
