hi
i am italian :)
i love your blog.
in italy nothing interesting..same old shops and same old things. unfortunately, especially in rome where i live, people dress all the same. and you see always the same 3 types of shoes on people. sadness :(

lucilla i’m agree for the fact that in italy there is a standarization of style (not like 10 years ago for example, when there were several groups and trends) but i’m not absolutely agree for the sadness and the lack of ideas. the quality is high, this is why the “people dress all the same”. more or less, naturally.
in red apple i don’t post the future trends, but exactly what we see on the streets (shops and people). what we show is what we are. or not?……..it’s an old and looooong story…
for tittilareau: i think the chocolate leather high heeled loafers are gucci – line guccissima (and i just adore see it on the streets!)

bibi i am just saying that sometimesi i search some type of dresses and bags and shoes and the only place where i can find them is milan! reagrding gucci, it has lost a lot since tom ford went away and the gucci sneakers are certainly very pretty, but everyone seems to think that the pnly shoes you can buy are nike shox, hogan or gucci sneakers. and the worst thing especially in the centre-south of italy is that when you dress a bit different, everyone starts staring at you…i don0t care much about that but it makes me giggle when i think that in paces like berlin or london or even dublin they don’t stare at you not even if you go naked!! :)

lucilla today lally and other girls said the same thing about rome. and pointed the great difference respect to milan.
for me style-show is different because i live in riviera (liguria) and there is a more easier mood but a lot of shops and stores.
maybe rome and milan are more like paris, more old europe respect london and berlin.

yeah probably you are right.
the point is that to buy shoes i have to take the plane or the train….for example i love car shoe but the official store is in milan…here in rome there are a couple of shops that sell car shoe but they have few models. not to mention manolo blahnik or jimmy choo….where can you find them in rome?!? me very sad :(
anyway, i manage to find sometimes good shops that sell non conventional firms
