Redirects to the Spam Sites

Manolo says, it has been called to the Manolo’s attention that some of the Manolo’s visitors, while attempting to reach the website of the Manolo, have been redirected to the spammish spam sites where they have been assaulted by the spammy ads.
Mostly likely, these sites were of the ErrorSafe or the DriveCleaner varieties, more of the terrible nuisance than the outright disaster.

The Manolo believes these redirecting ads were being served to the Manolo’s site through one of his ad partners.

If you are one of the unlucky peoples to whom this has happened, the Manolo apologizes to you profusely, he is very sorry, indeed, for this trouble.

Manolo says, her is the unusual and attractive shoe from the Delman, one that would be suitable for wearing into the place of employment. And yet, even as these shoes are suitable for the professional wearing, the combination of the patent and the suede gives the shoe just the right quantity of fashion drama.

Readings from the Book of Hasselhoff

Manolo says, daily readings from Don’t Hassel the Hoff. Today, page 117.

Patricia and I spent our first romantic night together at the Heia Safari Ranch outside Johannesburg in an African-decor bungalow. That first night in camp one of the guides mimicked the mating cry of a wildebeest. Next day, we drove around the safari park in a little hire car. When we saw two wildebeest, I couldn’t resist trying out the mating cry. Patricia roared with laughter but one of the animals looked up and headed straight for us.

‘Wow — this mating stuff really works!’ I said.

We wound the windows up and I frantically tried to start the diesel engine, but before I could get the car in gear the wildebeest had rammed his head into the bodywork again and again. We made it to the park’s entrance and while the gatekeeper was letting us out a passing ostrich ripped off the radio antenna.

What the Manolo Is…

Manolo says, it is Tuesday, time to see what the Manolo is…

Listening to…

The Manolo found that this Knocked Up movie was quite funny, but ultimately it did not speak to him in any meaningful way.

First, it is shambling and indulgent sort of movie, one which needs the tightening hand of the stern editor to speed things along.

Secondly, and perhaps more importantly, the matters which are treated in this movie (how to grow up and take responsibility) should be principally of concern to the late adolescent, not to those of us who have already long passed such milestones. But this is the problem with the recent cinema, no? The majority of movies are not made for the adults.

That said, the Manolo has been greatly enjoying the Loudon Wainwright’s soundtrack of the movie.
