Shoes for the Princess
Manolo says, the people at the Feetwear News have asked five famous designers of the shoes to tell the world what they would make for the Princess-to-be Kate Middleton to wear for the wedding.
Here is the design of our maestro, the Manolo Blahnik.
His design: An ivory silk pump with organza lilies of the valley and sea pearls
“It represents springtime and everything fresh and new, which is what Kate Middleton is all about.”
And now, you must go see the rest of the designs (be sure to click on the “images” button).

Whimsical and frothy, yes; practical, no. Do these designs really reflect the spirit and design sensibility of Ms. Middleton, whom I do not believe is quite so fluffy?
All the best,

I agree with NCD. That is a stunning shoe, but I cannot see it on Kate Middleton! As for ‘practical’, well it’s a wedding! A girl can go impractical if she wants… I just don’t see Kate Middleton in particular going impractical!

The Georgina Goodman sketch is my favorite. It’s breathtaking!

I’m with Kate B., the Georgina Goodman is so feminine, I can really see that pair as part of a wedding outfit.

The Giuseppe Zanotti is fabulous, and one that I could easily see on the feets of the future Princess. After all, she does love the black shoes!
